Default O2 Sensor Replacement

So I had a CEL and the code came back as "bank 1, O2 Sensor". I reset the CEL and a couple days later it came back with the same code. Now I know it is a O2 problem. Does anyone know how many sensors a 01 TT has, where they are located, and how much of a pain they are to DIY? Thanks all.

All modern cars have 2. Bank one is the closest to the manifold. They are not that hard to replace with an o2 wrench and some PB Blaster.

Perfect. Do you suggest I go with Audi or is a universal O2 OK? Thanks

They both will be bosch. The only difference will be a direct replacement will have the harness connection on it where the uni will require you to cut and attach the old connector.
