Well after 3 years of battling with a cel I finally got it out. A couple months ago however my second instrument cluster started going on the fritz. I am planning to send this in for repair next month but needed to get the car inspected. Took it in...it passed safety and there are no lights on in the cluster (abs, air bag, cel) but when they hooked it up for emissions it wouldnt communicate. I dropped the dash checked the pins as well as the fuse all seem to be in place and normal. I have no issues with the car starting or running minus the cluster. Can the cluster cause issues with the obd port? Im hoping its not the ecu and do have an after market radio installed but have had no issues with that over the past 5 years. The company that put it in already knew of the common k line issue. Hoping for any answer that prevents me from the 100 bucks an hour audi will charge....
