odessey battery
I used a hawker G-13 in my hatchback. That thing was a champ, and weighed less then 10lbs. I picked up 2 for $50 with a set of brass terminals somewhere awhile back. That thing was TINY too, looked like a motorcycle battery or something, great for fitting extra 'toys' in the engine bay.

I think I found them on Honda-Tech or maybe it was a surplus closeout, I dont remember. Theres all kinds of crazy little tidbits floating around the web
Happy hunting.

ya i know of the hawkers heard they were the same as odessey or somthing my buddy put one in his supra and likes it small as hell though check out these bad *** teminals i just ordered http://knukonceptz.com/productMaster...ry%20Terminals
i just hope the oddessey will fit nice in the TT i'm using an Interstate battery thats been pretty good but i want it to look a little nicer so i'm deciding between optima and oddessey same price pretty much but lately i've been hearing that optimas arent really that good
I see what youre saying. I had to modify the tie-down to secure the little hawker, but I'm thinking weight savings. A standard sized battery is pretty heavy when you compare it to an 8lb battery that will do the same job (Mine would run 60a for 30 minutes before it couldnt hold the load, and it still had plenty left to crank the engine). Thats like free horsepower and reduced weight over the front end where most cars tend toward understeer as it is. Every little bit helps.
Oddeysee and Optima both make great products if you want the minimal of screwing around though. Youd be surprised what you can do with a teeny-tiny battery and a nice light set of wheels though.

haaa yeah my only problem is that i dont know how i'll mount the smaller battery, might have to customize some **** also i'm really upset that nobody makes a performance alum radiator for the TT i would buy one for sure like a fluidyne or somthing
One of the benefits of a honda, a cheap B16A2 radiator on a D16Z6 = 100% efficiency upgade.
You can get radiators fabbed up in any spec you need, and probably come out cheaper then your standard flyidyne.
You can usually find shops locally, but theres places online too...

My dad got a customaluminum job done locally for around $300 for a Ford 302 in an '87 Ranger.

yeah but i keep getting the runaround by companies saying that they cant do Audis i'm like well you should cuz they're plenty of people out there wanting a better more effective cooling system our little 1.8s use a ton of heat and a better cooling system just makes sense for those wanting the most power and reliablity
