Default Oil Change

So its that time, and im going to do it myself... what do you guys use? Mobil 1? Q? 5w-30 is what im going with too i just dont know which brand i should use

Dont think the Q is 502 appoved. Stick with mobil1 0w40 or Castrol 5w40. Also the valvoline synpower 5w30 is also. Use that if you want to use 5w30

I use mobil 1 5W30, can't find 0W40, thats as close as I can get. Been thinking of ordering a 55gal. drum of the stuff, just so I have some extra on hand.... ; )

yeah, that would be a little extra on hand. One would think ordering a oil change kit from ecs would suffice.

I live in Dallas. Because of the heat, most mechanics here recommend 5w-50.
