Must have just happened on my way home from work this afternoon because it was not there last night... there is oil all over the IM runners and probably all over the bottom of the IM, its comming from somewhere under the IM and spraying upward and I can see its all over a lot of the hoses and wires that run under the IM.

I checked the dipstick and its secure... any idea what it could be??

 

The valve cover gasket could be one, but you would of noticed that. The only other thing i can think of is the oil feel line comes from under the 3rd cyl intake man runner. Could be a leak there.

 

yeh I was thinking it was the gasket but its all clean up there.. I'll check that line, is it the 3rd from the left?

 

tb - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4

Look between the 3rd and 4th runner and you should see it. If it needs tightened, believe its a 8mm allen

it could be the crankcase breather hose. it carries the blowby air back to the intake. it is the same hose that connects to the right side of the valve cover. my hose ripped and it would spit out oil, but not in large ammounts. this is the same oil that deposits in the intercooler usually

 

Nah all that is good, this is comming from under the manifold and I have yet to find it exactly. looks like the IM is going to have to come off

Checked that the dipstick is in the tube, or checked that the tube is still in one piece?
