Default One more interior question

Have one more question... When I got the car, it came with a phone holder like in the picture below. Is the metal bar (D-shaped thing) a stock part of the car or was this added after the fact? I don't have a phone but thought it might be a good place to add an iPod.

Still have a few things to learn about this car...

It is an Audi product, there is a phone jack behind the cup holders for a car phone.

Thank you again miss; you're a wealth of TT knowledge it would seem. I'm still figuring out what all the damn buttons do... lol... I still don't know how to reset the trip computer (not that there's really any reason to).

Windshield wiper stalk.

Little rocker switch on the end switches between menus in the computer, and on the bottomside, theres a reset button. Press it, computer display turns off, but press and hold it, and it resets whatever menu is displayed.

Personally I love the MPG avg setting - loads of fun - goes from 21.1 to 26.8 depending on the driving of course... [8D]

I reset it with every refueling, lets me keep track of who has better gas in town. Its depressing to look at though, its pretty hilly here, and that kills my gas milage. I usually get somewhere around 22-23mpg. If I drive north-south, (stay in the valleys) I can get 30 or so, but to get to work its up and over the top of a couple big hills.
