I agree with cincyTT.

Putting cheap gas in your ride can result in a *pinging* noise.

You also get crap for preformance.....

Also, if you think about it it's really only $3-4 more a tank to get power under your pedal.

P.S. send some of that 95octane my way we only get 91 in socal.

On a side note.
I got to roll in a brand new 2k7 - A3 2.0T as my loaner car while mine was in the stealership.
It said only 87octane.
Weird hun?

only if its unleaded. But at $5 a gallon, is a little impractical. Thats why you use water/meth injection

OK, I will never never never put anything but super premium in my TT. Thank you - I just wanted to know if that sticker was a suggestion or a warning.

Funny - everyone knows that even a 25 cent change in the price of gas amounts to about - well, about a latte to fill a typical tank - but somehow it feels so good to be able to say "Really? I got gas just down the road from there for 12 cents less than you!"

ok now I know why my engine sounds like a diesel one(knocks every time it blows something inside a cylinder) ...and when it idles that is 800KNOCKS per MINUTE not 800RPMs right? Previous owner didn't care about the car.... prob only used 87gasmixed withwater to make it more and kill the engine[:@]

now seriously... what canI do now to fix that?... my dad sad it's weird, the AUDI MECHANIC said the injectors are under so much pressure theySHOULD be that loud (he never listened to my "diesel" engine...)

please don't tell me i have to get a new engine...thanks
