opinions on HP brand EVO wheels
I've been trying to find info on these HP EVO wheels. They're a mesh style with a 2in. lip

I found a set for cheap on Vortex ($660 shipped w/crappy Nankang 215/40 tires) but I don't know if they are like an ADR type brand... you know what I mean... like a WalMart brand wheel? Now, if they were more of a brand that was comparable to ASA or the like, that would be fine. Any opinions from you guys?
I've also got a bid in on some Axis Pentas shipped w/no tires for $900 which I really like, but the price difference is making me unsure of what way to go.

RE: opinions on HP brand EVO wheels
I was looking at the Supermesh too, but I don't like the Axis badge on the lip. The penta is also a different colored center section than the lip, where the HP EVO is a solid silver finish.
I'm most worried about the construction. People say Axis are pretty decent, lots of people run them, but I can't find anything on the HPs which makes me think bad of them

RE: opinions on HP brand EVO wheels
Hey, I actually own a set of HP Evo's on my Eclipse. They are pretty decent looking but the ones I have are painted and the paint chips very very easily. Also the 2 inch lip likes to show brake dust really bad. As long as you clean em and take care of them then they are a good wheel. The paint on mine started to chip after about 3 months. I had a wheel repair specialist repaint them. Apparently according to him aftermarket and stock wheels don't come with enough clearcoat on the wheel to protect it enough. He said when he paint's wheels he always put enough clear coat on to keep them looking new.
