Default opinions on these sway bars

Hi all its been awhile since my last post,
Well Im upgrading the suspension and Im wondering everyones opinion on these sway bars.click.
They have two options the 25mm front with 19mm rear or the 25mm front with 28 mm rear.
My car is FWD so I'm not sure how the larger number in the rear will affect my steering.
Some insight/schooling is very well appreciated.
THX

Least expensive kit I've seen, but 28mm rear is HUGE.

The usual upgrade is a 19mm rear sway bar.

Generally, stiffen the rear, leans you more towards oversteer (a solid rear end is gonna wanna swing around easier), stiffen the front, and you'll get more understeer. I have no clue exactly what the differences in the FWD and the Quattro are, I've only owned quattro cars.

If you do it, I'd go for the kit with the smaller rear.

I've never seen a 19mm RSB for a FWD TT. Smallest dia I've seen is 25mm.

I'd call the vendor and verify fitment.

you are going to need the stiffer/thicker rear bar for a fwd car. if you add just a front or thicker front than rear, your making the understeer worse.

yeh, 28mm is the typical upgrade for the FWD, as the 19mm is for the quattro. I put a 28mm on my jetta and it was nice but it didn't make half the difference it did when I put the 19mm on the TT, I guess the independant rear benefits more from the upgrade.

Good info guys.
I was thinking the thicker stiffer bar ( in the rear) would be better for a FWD than smaller. As far as price goes, thats the bestbargain I've found so far. Neuspeed bars are almost double what I would pay for in this kit.

Any other brands you guys would recomend over these?
or isthe bar a bar?

some are solid, some are tube, think it mainly depends on the diameter.

www.ttstuff.com has a couple diff. ones I think, but what you found are a pretty good price.

Us fwd guys get screwed here. We have to pay so much more than the awd guys and we need it more [:@]

I've checked out TTstuff and they have a 32mm bar thats really catching my eye, but that one bar
is more expensive than the set I found [:'(].
For the set up its 600 Front and rear w/o shipping.
Very true on cincy's part, FWD stuff is too expensive.
