Default Opinions Welcome...

Well after some research i decided going big turbo the cheap way is a bad idea, so im planning on getting a kit from pagparts... its around $3400...
So... i saved up $3400, but decided before i do that, i should do some other upgrades/maintainence first... So far im only doing the haldex maintainence ($110), the timing belt was done at 90k miles and ive only got 125k on the car now, with the car bought at 115k miles... so if you think of other maintainence i should do please tell me

i already determined big brakes are after the turbo
So what i've done so far...
3"downpipe custom made with 3" full exhaust
custom intercooler set-up with rework of all pipe's
plenum spacer
apr r1 diverter valve
diode with Boost controller
and of course a boost gauge
and some 18's... but there just temporary, got em cheap
i also did the n249 remove etc. etc.

After the turbo upgrade you'll need to re-buy a new downpipe since downpipes are NOT interchangeable between turbos.

Different turbos are mounted and positioned differently so a downpipe for a k04 will not fit a 2871r, etc
Good reason to get a cat-back prior to BT upgrade but to wait on the downpipe until after you get the turbo.

its hard to say, looks like you are going in1of 2 ways more POWER or more street preformance.

But what fun is all that power if you can't make it turn or stop when and were you want?

also as for the sway barsI just have an adjustable rear and that make the car so much better well for me I AutoX so I guess I am more inclined to go suspension stuff first

I will prob do a Haldex controler before any turbo upgrades but that is just me.

I would get a front and rear sway, adjustable rear control arms, polyurethane bushings all around (control arms , sway bars, dogbone mount), and DEFCON kit. Those suspension tightening mods will make your car feel like a whole different car. Get those and add a Blue Haldex controller to it... and you have a fcking performance street vehicle already. then you can worry abut power.

Here you go, I'll go a step further and look up every single part I listed above with prices and link them all for you.
[ul][*]DEFCON Bushing adapter Kit $125 (Adapters only, buy poly bushings elsewhere)[*]Polyurethane Bushings all around $255[*]22mm front sway & 19mm rear sway $439[*]Adjustable Control Arms($250 if you order from PrecisionTT on here, anywhere from $300-$500 elsewhere)[*]Performance Blue Haldex Controller$800-$900[/ul]
lmfao... for some reason.... it will not let me link the neuspeed site for the sway bars. I've Editted like 5 times and it does it... and then its gone when I go look. -shrugs- oh well
http://www.neuspeed.com/products/product_list.asp?app=7|TT&type=2&ltype=ns_ euro

Total Price: $1069 (without Blue Haldex)
Total after Blue (or Orange if you're daring enough to do it) Haldex Controller: $1,919

The turbo kits going to cost you more since you need a new clutch and catback. So your only most of the way there to a BT kit

Yes, I believe so. I'm almost positive that the adjustable control armshe made are the OEM specs, not the pre-recall specs.

ORIGINAL: precision tt

also to clear some things up, the arms also do what the Defcon kit does. it acctually eliminates the rubber bushing all together.
From the link you gave me precision said this
also what about getting a coilover kit... wouldnt that be beneficial

as for a new catback and all, i have a friend that will weld the new dp and old catback together

and where can i get a clutch for a good price? what stage will i need, i dont really plan on going to the track just yet, and definately no plans on launching the car from a dead stop
