Does anyone know where to get a replacement plastic skid plate for an 01 225 ive searched the net but i dont even know what audi calls the part can anyone help me out? Thanks!

 

Dealer only item. You won't need a part number, just speak to the parts guy. He'll look it up.

 

Actually not dealer only. ECS tuning sells them under ES#250811 but this is cheapest...

I was going to replace mine, but just patched it with a big aluminum plate and some screws/nuts.

Don't forget to buy about a dozen of the torx screws...

just buy a panzer plate from dieselgeeks.

 

+1 on the Panzer plate... if my stock plate breaks thats what im going to get

 

I noticed on the stock one it has some sort of intake holes in it and the Panzer doesn't have those does anyone know if the effects performance or causes overheating or are the holes really just not needed?

 

I LOVE my Panzer plate! It's saved me a ton of cash I've scraped it hard probably 10 times bottomed it out on a hill(hard!)at least 2 times. All of these incidents would have put me out of comission. Not only does it save the bottom of your car, but it siffend up my front end noticeably. As far as overheating or ventilation, i live in south florida(hot as *****!!). And I've never had a problem. Impressive chunk of metal! I can't say enough about it.

 

Can you buff out or grind the scratches? I imagine they are pretty noticeable.

 

I wear those gashes like a badge of honor besides, you can't see them unless your under the car.
