Parts BS
WOW, sorry to hear about the run-around hassle...but at the same time glad to hear some opinions first hand of the quality of percafe's bakes...was thinking of picking up a set but now skeptical. Who else has good deals on brake kits? Does mjm or getcoolparts have kits?
I emailed ECS to let them know/complain about their "exact-fit" brake lines, and they arent even responding :-P
As far as perfcafe, I got the cheapest option, so I am not surprised I got what I paid for. The main suck thing about them was that my package obviously broke in shipment, since it was taped back up, my brake pads box was ripped/smashed open and mixed amongst the other components. Maybe shipping 50+ lbs of rotors loose with two boxes of pads in a single wiffy carboard box isnt a place to save $. I let them know, and they just said haha yeah ups sucks.

This is not getting better. Ecs tuning is giving me such a run around about refunding me for sending the wrong lines. My installer got them to be leak free by using different components, grinding, etc.
I wrote them on 7/28 with ALL of the details, car, part #,rder #, it took them a week to write back and ask "Thank you for the inquiry, has anyone addressed this issue yet? Also, can I get an order number and your make and model of car? This way I can further look into this issue, its seem like we may have sent you the wrong lines."
I have since sent like a half dozen emails with over 20 pictures of the lines installed, and clear accompanying descriptions of the problem : they dont fit to the shock body right, the line ends were too wide in that they placed the hole off center whenlined up with the boss on the caliper that keeps them from turning. The edge of the line needed to be ground down so it would bolt up flush and not leak, on both sides. The ends were smaller than stock . Heres the link I sent them http://s244.photobucket.com/albums/g...illiams/lines/ .
I am really annoyed. I told them just to credit me and we would be fine, otherwise I would just tell the credit card company to reverse the charge, still, after like three weeks, no resolution. Its not hard: sorry we sent the wrong ones, heres a credit. Sorry for the rant.
