where can i get the gasket? because ive been dying to repaint my valve cover as well as mani.

thanks, just ordered my valve cover gasket kit...

for sanding just use 40 grit and 200grit?

now i have to decide what color[&:]

Depends on how smooth you want it. IF you are just going to paint it, that will be fine. Mine is krinkle painted so i just preped the surface and then painted it.

yea im just going to paint it... probably like a black chrome kinda thing. what kind of paint did you use murder? is any brand good?

He powdercoated it, its not paint (not exactly).

Powdercoating involves electrically charging the part being sprayed and the powder is attracted like dust to a tv screen. Afterwards it's cured in an oven.

im not planning on powder coating though... justs going to sand it a little bit then paint it with some high temp spray paint

Nothing wrong with painting, but powdercoat yields a more uniform, completely run free and tougher finish.
