So i found that the supra A-Pillar will fit on my 01 TT.. i just wanted to know if anyone has installed this and does it just snap in.. also i looked at my pillar and i dont know how to get it off to hide the wire.. any help there? maybe a write-up im missing somewhere!

yes it fits but u still have to use a heat gun to mold it to fit "exactly" and you will have to drill most likely and run the wire/hose through the pillar down through the dash

damn. I want to do the same thing. Is there any other way, besides drilling the stock pillar?

use some strong adhesive after u mold it to fit

not a huge fan of pillar gauges it screams IM A RICER..my two cents thats why so many manufacturers make vent gauges

A a-pillar gauge I think is ok (thats where my boost gauge sits). Multiple gauges there, rediculous. One thing I can tell you, is Im not sacrificing a vent for a gauge, and I'm not installing any gauges that I can't point directly at me. Whats the point of having it if you can't read it easily/accurately?

My boost guage currently is naked. Only thing holding it in place is the tubing/wiring coming out from between the dash and pillar. Once a pod surrounds it, it'll look the same. You dont have to route your wiring thru the pillar, unless you plan on mounting your gauge far above the dash line, which again, is rediculous. You shouldn't be taking your eyes that far from the road.

^^^ I like that idea. Do you have a picture, to help explane it? I just don't like the idea of having 3 vents then one with a gague in it.

I wasnt really against A pillar mounts I just didnt want to fill in a vent. Make something like this.
