Well I was out and about early this evening and a 6.0 GTO comes up beside me. He guns it and I gun it and we slow down and come to a light. So we go for it, and of course he got me off the line a bit. By the time we were at 80 he was only a 3/4 car length ahead of me. I figured I would be blown away but really did ok. I would make ground when he shifted, and when he shifted in every gear his tires would chirp. Now if had kept going he would have pulled on me even more with that corvette engine, but I was proud of my baby tonight. I think I kinda surprised him too. I would say by the time we got to 60 he was only a 1/2 car length ahead.

 

interesting... I know my car surprised me the other night when I raced a mustang, I put him back about 7-8 car lenghts. I thought it would be a lot closer than that

 

when you get the exhaust and w/m done, then that wouldbe a differnt story

 

Yea now I need to get about 20 more hp and hold boost longer so I can still gain at the higher rpms and mph. So the w/m kit, a good Dp, and a boost controller are the next mods. Getting my windows tinted Wed, so that should add a good 20 hp.

No I had silver before and then silver was faster but now the speed is with the black. Gotta stay true to the car color. But I have to say staying stock looking so far is kinda fun. Thats why I think I will just do a good down pipe and not a cat back or the loud intake. I just hope the DP changes the exhaust note some.
