Here's what happened...
-Waterpump went at idle, stripped teeth on timing belt
-Pulled belt and water pump, replaced
-triple checked timing and turned over twice by hand
-did leak down test on head and came out good
-pulled valve cover and checked valves

I can not get the car to start and it is not throwing any codes
I checked the fuses for the engine timing they are all good.

Please help any suggestions would be great.

 

How many miles on the car? Just wondering.

 

any spark at the plugs? did you set the timing when you fitted the new belt (was everything set up right )

I checked the timing 3 times
-cam notch lined up
-flywheel notch lined up
-balancer notch lined up
spun twice and checked. everything lined up again perfect

I do have spark
tried other key as well

 

Are you positive you were at TDC and not 180 out? Those holes can be tricky....Not sure that would matter if you marked, but you said you pulled the head.

 

Stripped teeth? There has to be some bent valves there. Hopefully you actually will pull the head and check.

 

Everything was at TDC. Im pulling the Head this weekend.
I have a A very bad feeling.

Anyone have a good head just in case???
