Pointed electrode on spark plugs....
So I finally replaced my spark plugs. Nothing fancy just regular NKG's; except when I took the old ones out the electrode came to a point.
These are nothing like the iridium points, they were stock Audi spark plugs!
I would of taken a picture, but I threw them away before realizing this was a strange occurrence. [:@]
Oh, and another thing, I checked the gap on the old ones just to see how bad they were... Yeah still at 32, I just don't get it.
The point looked like this: /\
Any ideas? Only one I could come up with is that the plugs were never changed.
Could this have been 7 years of wear on spark plugs?!?
Let's hear some theories!

um i doubt it... as you said they are stock plugs so my bet would be you (or someone else, idk if you bought it new or used) just took it too a dealer and put in stock audi plugs....

That's kinda what it looked like. Except not iridium, maybe I should of said filament instead. : /
Wish I took a picture, imagine a black upside down ice cream cone!
They are good for maybe 30k miles. Anything beyond that is nuts. SOmeone had to of changed them before. WHy the point, no idea unless someone thought they were giving it more spark by doing that [:@]
