My 01 tt coupe 180hp is experiencing a lack of power at highway speeds and i'm not sure what the source may be. possibly belts need changing what else could be my problem car has 53,000 miles and is in need of maitenance. haven't changed cluch fluids or tranny fluids yet.

Also i have changed the tires on my car but only the two rear tires because of lack of cash and the tire place said that doing this will slowly wear away my transmission because all tires arent gripping at the same rate but in my oppinion that is waht electronic slip protection is for would appreciate any oppinions thanks.

 

depending on how bad the difference between front and rear tires, that might be a big part of your problem right there, of course, "in need of maintainance" really sums things up...
