Default Power pulleys!!

Ok so heres the deal I am wanting to put little bolt on on my TT that will add just alittle bit more power for each one. I am thinking of getting pulleys but I have heard from my friend who has the VR6 GTI that (at least on his) cause the water pump to mess up. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on this as it would be a great help. I know ECS sells a pulley whos diameter is the same as the OEM but it weighs less there for freeing up alittle HP. Anyone know how much at the wheels?? Thanks for the info

My experience with lightweight parts like pulleys and flywheels is this: these parts are designed with the safety of your motor in mind. Lightening them can cause vibration, undue stress on parts (like the water pump), etc... A little bolt on might be focusing on cooling your intake or freeing up your exhaust... or how about that Phenolic spacer that I posted on recently?

Not that you shouldn't go for it, it's totally your call, but I, personally, do not like increasing the stress too much on my vehicles.
