New to me anyways, after having to sell my last TT, sweet to have one again. Just picked up an 01 225 roadster, silver w/dark grey. 83k miles, timing belt done before I got to it. Needs to be cleaned, and have bumperstickers removed (who puts a sticker on an audi), and buffed at somepoint to get rid of a few fine lines in the paint. Thought I would miss a little trunk space or useless back seats, but hot dam its nice with the top down (even if its manual), which happens to be in great shape because it was always garaged. Any case, just a rave because its cool to have a car again and start ploTTing some fundamental mods. Green top sensor is first, since owner thought it was over heating (part of the good price) but block 49 says temps are A-OK.

Very nice dude, I am going to miss black on black, except for keeping it clean. I'll try and get the car presentable tommorrow. Dude did some doofy things with the car, like "installing" a radar detector with adhesive backed velcro, one half to the fold down shade above the rear view mirror, other half to the detector :-P The car really needs some love aesthetically, but seems in good shape mechanically. Although it doesnt really matter much, I', looking forward to putting on a mini beesting antenna, stock one seems ridiculously tall, your seems a good deal shorter?

 

Mine is a bee sting. I also thought the stock antenna was outrageously long.

sweet mod :-) the right antenna will add 5whp, but only if you also put on some neon lights and sweet stickers, haha.

sweet. do you know of any way to check how many roadsters were made in a given year, ie x 225s, x with this or that option?
