You could always do a carfax, or call the dealer and have them look up the vin.
If that's not good enough... You could go to an open, empty field and let her rip!
Launch her then get out and look at the tire markings in the dirt/grass. <-- I prefer this method by the way!

Haha It says Quattro on your glove box if you have one.

You can red line the car and pop the clutch. If your Drive train ends up on the ground you have a quattro. If you do a burnout you have 2wd.
