I think you are. ;-)

Most of us dreamers imagine either a small block V8 or the TTRS engine.

cheers.

If we're in dream land why not look at a twin turbo viper v10 engine? lol

With all the engines out there i doubt anyone has invested the funds for the sti or evo engines. Especially since it's much cheaper to get the TT engine up to the same power levels as those engines.

If you do it, make sure to post up pictures!

Haha I guess I'm just curious more than anything. I'm new to Audi and all things German so forgive me for my short comings but I just know the Sti and evo motors are very stout and can reach 400-600 before breaking a sweat. Idk anything about the 1.8

A 1.8t can do 400whp pretty easy also with a 3071r with min lag. As for a motor swap, sticking with a VW motor will be far easier. A VR6 or 2.5 5cyl would be a proper choice if you want something different.

Really? 400 out of a 1.8?! Awesome. But to be honest I've always been one for bigger displacement. I guess like mentioned above with money anything is possible. Just wish I could smoke a new camaro ss and leave em freaking out! Lol

Stroked to 2l and a built head to rev to 9k will give plenty of revs to run turbos capable of 750whp+
