hi, i need to replace my front driver side axle coz it has broken boot... most shops gave me the price range around $400 ... just wondering if i can order the part from a shop for $100 and have a tech doing it for me for around another $100,, is that good thing to do or i shouldn't try to save the $ and have it done professionally.
2nd if the suspension is make a bit wired noise like piece metal broken when i turn directions or step on the brakes.. i was told the it is neither a control arm bushing or sway bar bushing, which 1 should i check first? 2000 tt with around 107k.
3rd. car temp will reach around 107 from HVAC in heavy traffic or idoling. the fan will NOT turn on until the temp needle reachs first notch after mid... but if i have the AC on,,, temp always stays around 95. so is that a bad fun control unit that makes the fan comes on late? if so. where i can get a cheap replacement and is that a DIY thing?
