a stock 350Z puts down around 225-235 whp...

they are hella fast! so a chip and full exhaust on a 225 will take a z?

 

stock z's run ~14flat. there are plenty of gti/jetta guys running 13's on stock turbos with basic bolt ons. If you cant do the same with a 225, whats the point in buy the "faster" car.

 

wow i had no idea of the true potential of these cars...
so a chip and bolt-ons will get a 225 under 14? sweet!

 

I would suggest a new aftermarket clutch and flywheel as well... with the quattro the stock clutch can't take a hard launch. Main reason I'm still in the 14's [:'(]

 

Better hope the 350 doesn't have a turbo, chip, or any bolt ons.

You might want to throw a drop in filter/ intake (airflow) and a tip (collapsing) for good measure.

 

I have seen dynos of Z's in import tuner with intake, exhaust, plenium spacer and they are only adding maybe 10whp for $1500.

 

That's amazing. Actually, its more pitiful than anythng. Still though, with a turbo and chip... It'd be a force to be reckoned with.
I love my 225, but I have come to the realization that I will probably never see 350+ or a low 12 sec 1/4 without a big turbo.

 

Yea Z's don't get any good gains until they go F/I.

When they do they can eat corvettes and vipers thou... *shivers*
