Last night i pulled up to a light next a kid my age in a 98 Mustang Gt, I rev and he did as well the light turned green i launched perfectly, and beat it off the line i got to about 3rd gear and he finally past me, my first street race in my TT...

 

yep thats about when i got passed by a fully modded PI GT( 99-and up). i'm guessing you have a 180 hp model like me, if you have a 225, WTF? but anyway dont b too dpressed they have twice the engine and even if is is faster, no heated seats!!!!!!!!

 

Get a chip and full exhuast and then go find him again. With 22psi he will only be next to you at the start and behind you the rest.

 

Yep I agree with Cincy then he is going to be the one to play catch up, and the look on their face is priceless...

 

I have a 180 with a few mods including a chip and I walked all over a GT.

96-98's are the dog's of the Stang world. If you beat a modded New Age, or an Old Fox body then you can talk, until then, a modded car racing a stock car has never impressed me. However, a kill is a kill so congrats.

FYI, I'm a Stang guy too;-) The Audi is for the Curves, and the occasional Quarter, I run Stangs for the Quarter only.

 

The mustang was modded somewhat, i was happy with my launch, I am also a mustang guy too, i love the 60's and 99 and up I was supposed to buy my Brothers 01 GT Convert, but i picked the TT instead, Once i get some mods i will hunt him down and beat him
