Default Radio removal tools(homemade)

Anyone know of a good way to make a pair of radio removal tools? Like material etc..? I want to pull mine, but I'm no gonna order a set. I'm thinking of using an old credit card, and cut it to shape. Any other ideas that have worked for you guys.

use the metal strips out of a hanging file folder. they need to be a little more stiff than a credit card would be.

they need to have this profile.

I borrowed a legit set from an Audi tech I knew, and made a copy for myself out of some scrap sheetmetal, matching them to the Audi set.

Lol, that's like the 3rd version of those that I've seen. I made some with old butter knives from goodwill.

Getting the radio out of mine to hook up my parrot hands free bluetooth was one of the hardest things I ever did.

I made a decent tool myself out of a hacksaw blade by shaping it like the other tools.

Couldn't get it out.

EVen took it to 2 car stereo places they couldn't get it out. (one scratched the front)

Finally, Audi dealership guy got it with official tool but he had problem because it was stuck.
Used screw driver too I think. Thought he was going to tear it up.

So the tool is only half of it , the other maybe unsticking it while pulling it out.

Wal-Mart has a set for $4. Much quicker than making tools (did that once). My indash unit fit so tightly, I had to remove the warranty stickers.
