Thumbs down Radio says "DIAG." all the time????

I was driving along playing the new acdc cd and all of a sudden the stereo cuts out and says "DIAG.". Turning it off, ejecting the cd mag, turning the car off, taking out the key all do nothing!! What the hell does it mean? I never ever had a single problem with the radio, no disc errors, nothing. I am debateing pulling the radio fuse tonight. This is weird.

Hmm, weird... normally when they go they just say "code" or something like that. Pull the fuse and make sure you have your radio code handy, and try reactivating it. Hopefully that helps.

Ever since I hooked up my Dension ICE mine does the same thing all the time, If I power the radio off and on again it works just fine, it just gets annoying sometimes, it will happen once or twice every 3 days or so.

i say rip that P.O.S out of there and get a better head unit. you can get some nice stuff these days for cheap. especially if you go to a place like circuit city and shop the open box section.

I pulled the fuse, waited about 5 secconds and put it back. The radio started playing music right away. I didn't even need to enter a radio code or reset my presets.
