does anybody know the "real" times for the 225hp tt coupe 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times? just trying to get a real response. kids keep saying thier srt-4 and mazda rx8 stock will beat the TT i think their talking about the 180hp

 

I myself decided to stop comparing my TT 225 to any Japanese cars. What's the point? It's like comparing a Rolex to a Seiko. For function, durability and price the Seiko will always win, but ask any Rolex owner if he would ever go back to wearing a Seiko.. big old "Hell no!!!". In my mind the same goes for Audi vs. S2000, WRX, RX8.. whatever. The Japanese make very efficiant cars, and make them well. I'm a long time Honda supporter, but I wanted a German car, actually a Roadster this time around. My brother-in-law is always taking verbal shots at my TT, he has a fully riced out 2001 Prelude. It's a totally different class.. now I want to start hanging around with people who say "My Boxster can whip your TT", reply: "Ok.. let's race to the golf course".

 

Do you have any mods?

The srt-4 will own you but you might take the RX8 not stock tho.....we need more details

 

i will smash the rx8 i have the 225 with modshack.info cold air inake and 007 forge diverter valve very soon i'll have neuspeed pulleys, giac x chip, boost gauge, and stage 2 clutch i think u need to do some research

 

I couldn't agree more. I'm at work, but I could probably write 20+ pages on why I agree with you Roadster!
