Default Rear Seats Delete/Cross Bar & Brace

I've been trying to find ideas on getting rid of the back seats since I really wanted a two seater. I would have gotten the roadster, but I like the hardtop. I got inspired when I saw photos of the '05 Quattro Sport. I love the way it looks better with the seats down like I have now. I plan on doing this early next year.

I had a number of choices. Frist having a interior customs shop do their own verison. I went to two places one said $2,500 & he said he would try to get as much weight out & clean it up & flaten everything out as much as he can. Another said $3,600 with Subs & Amps. Another is to freebase & figure it out on my own & then vagparts. Here's VagParts.com parts for sale. Their photos are on the site. Since they didn't have pricing I thought I share this with anyone who wants to do this too.

If you're doing the delete, Might as well do the roll bar with the X-brace. Damn, that looks meanthrough the back window.

If I didn't have a thing for Midget WrestlingI'd get rid of my back seats to put that in.

I'm sure you noticed the sweet afro, but did you catch the crooked mohawk too?

Not hard at all.

You can probably sell them to somericer that wantsheated seats
and make up most of your investment on the new seats.

Then how do you enjoy the look on your friends face 5 minutes after you turn on their seat without them noticing?

The one where they realize it's their *** that's sizzling and smells like bacon.[sm=icon_flaming.gif]

Keep us posted on what you do. I plan to do a rear seat delete this fall. Has anyone found the parts here in the states? Do you think the dealer could order them?
