Default Rear Valance Question

I'm thinking about ordering a new rear valance like this:

How hard is this to install and what is involved with installing it?

I put one on my car last summer and it really improves the look of the car...got mine from ECS tuning in Ohio. It really is an easy install, took me about 10 minutes.

If I remember correctly, you have to remove four screws on the bottom of the old valance and then pinch in the plastic clips that hold the edge on all around the perimeter of the valance. The new one simply snaps back into place and then you replace the four screws and you're done.

The black valance was an exact fit and is well made. I believe that it's an actual Audi OEM part so it should be...

that does look nice. Almost so nice that I might have to do it... the problem is they are over 200 dollars which seems ridiculous for a piece of plastic

It's something ilke $85 on TTstuff.com.

Rule #1 of owning an Audi: Don't go to a dealer under any circumstances, unless 1. it's under warranty 2. you can't get the part anywhere else, even via armed robbery 3. no shop on this side of the universe can figure out waddafuxup with your car.

Maybe I was thinking of the Carbon Fiber rear valence... and you don't have to clean the valence cuz it's black and hides dirt, lol... j/k.. .i see those divots being a biatch.

Hmm yeah I guess you were thinking of OSIR's carbon fiber DTM valence...I think it's like $300. I considered getting the honeycomb valence because dirt sticks to my silver one hardcore[:@]

Before you install it, just spray it with some wax or cleaner with teflon and you dont have to worry about things sticking as much

that would be stellar if you could find it for that cheap and post the link. I bet once I nightshade my taillights the black valence would be off the sheezie...lol
