Just for fun, curious what those who are going to get refunds are doing with theirs? I have to pay down some bills with the income tax rebate myself, but this economic stimulsu rebate they are proposing would be sweet. $600? Downpipe please.

$75,000 cutoff? That sucks! It should be $100,000 (at least). To live where I live (Northern Virginia), making $75K you better be single ora DINKcause that salary would not support a family.

Thats not right that they wont give the rebate to those really paying taxes ($75k and up.)

To answer the question the tax refund + rebate we receive this year is going to get us hardwood floors in either of 2 ways.

A. Use the $$ to pay direct for hardwoods.

or

B. Use the $$ to pay down all credit cards then finance the hardwoods.

heh, yeah I am sure we can all find use for cash quickly :-) 600 would be sweet since I am on a graduate stipend right now: 20k / year [:'(], and if they find you have other income, your out.
