What I've thought about before, and I guess you could do, is move them higher/farther out.

If you're looking to make your mirrors more effective, you can get "euro mirrors" which have a wider viewing angle off TTstuff.

 

all i can say is that if you cant see well out of the mirrors, you have them adjusted wrong
