So today I just realized that some convertible TT's have a removable hardtop:




I thought it would be hot on my car, but ebay'ed it and couldn't find one. Anyone know anything about it?

Audi OEM and optional in europe in same color as the car. Black ones, like above, were originally for black cars. Occasionally they come up for sale on ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, and the uk tt forum like this one on 22 july. you need the mounting kit too.

Shipped, with all mounting parts, you're probably in the $2500-3000 range. But they are nice.

Does anyone know if there are also removable hardtops are available for the 2012 model? Still on the fence between a coupe and a roadster. Not a fan of fabric tops, but love the convertible.
