Two thick coats. I wanted it to be black to go with the tinted windows, valance, telson, and sidemarkers. You can do light coats and get a smoked look.

No I like it like that. It matches your tint perfectly. Would probably match my 20% as well. If it wasnt supposed to rain all weekend I would do it too.

Its been raining here the last two days. Thats why I took them off the car. Even though I am not near being finished I just throw them back on to drive when I need to. I wish the headlights were as easy. I've had the smoked corners for a while and just keep putting it off.

I didn't apply a clear coat and mine faded back to stock in like 2months, but ironically, my side markers are still smoked.[sm=lame.gif].... I need to re-spray.

So after you hit it with the clear coat, do you have to use a buffer to smooth them out or does the clear coat make it smooth enough?

My clear coat application wasn't the greatest so I went back and wet sanded with 1000 grit. The surface felt rough but is now smooth.I also found some 1500 grit so I'm going to wet sand one more time and buff when I get a chance.

Autodreams sells it so you can get it cheaper than from them than you can get on ebay since you don't have to pay for shipping. It was $15.

Are you talking about the spray-on tint? Or something else?
