I keep my TT keyring empty because if I leave any other keys on ittheyhit my leg while driving. I was thinking today about how if I lose it no one will be able to contact me.

So:


I printed out Reward If Found, and put my contact # on it.
Then I cut a piece of tape to fit.

I realize there are some downsides to this.
Mainly that you could possibly get my address from the # and steal the car. Use at your discretion, just a tip I figured I would pass along.

 

great idea. i'm gona do the same cause i also dont put any keys on it for that same reason

 

If you put any # on there i would make it my cell phone. you cant tie that back into where you live with a reverse search

 

what the hell does not keeping keys on your key ring have to do with no one being able to contact you if you lose them? last i checked the keys I keep on my keyring dont have my phone # on them.

sigh, i wish we had alot of good sumaritans here in L.A... too bad the majority of the people here will pawn off my key to buy 40's. O.E. to be exact.

 

Yeah, my house keys don't cost a bill to replace though.

I'd much rather throw someone $20 for returning the key
instead ofgoing to audi to get a new one, and still having the old one in circulation.

 

My ride came with two, so I always have a back up

 

My car came with three keys, 2 switch 1 valet.
Instead of putting my phone number where no one will look, I got my key ring engraved with my initials.
You could do the same but instead have "Reward if found 555-1212"
