Default Rims

I've been searching some different wheels for my 2001 TT coupe. My budget is 500 and i'm going to be buying 17"s, just a nicer looking wheel. My question is what are the exact rim dimensions? I know 17", but 17x?

I'm a little confused.

Would these dimensions fit?

Size: 17" x 7.5"

Offset: +45mm

Bolt Pattern: 5x 100/114.3 (5 Lugs)

Sorry for all the replies, just have a lot of questions.

Does this affect anything?

*** These rims will only fit with 12x1.50 mm threads size, if your car has another thread size, you may need a stud conversion kit to fit these rims. ***

any size rim will fit as long as the bolt pattern is 5x100, and I would stick to the stock offset of 35mm. Also in reply to your other post, if it will only fit 12x1.5mm then it won't work because the stock bolt it 14x1.5mm

Could you do me a favor and type in 2001 Audi TT. Then the second rim on the page, the gloss black Flik Arctic, is that a decent rim? It sure looks nice. Do you think it would look nice also?

Correct me if I wrong here, guys, but as far as I know you can go as high as these combos without using spacers. Any greater depth they will need spacers.

17 - 19 in rims
depth 7-8.5

If you do go 19 you will have to drop to the 35's profile wise - but those type of tires will double your cost from 17's or 18's.

Personally, I'm running 18x8

And yes the 5x100 lug set is the only fitment for the TT.

If you are looking to stay under $500 - try eBay - you can get some truly nice 17's for under that budget.
