Question Road Test and one more decision

Just got back from my road test and wow. I am amazed. I drove a 2.0 non quattro and was blown away by how quick it was. It drove like a dream and I loved the seat - the way it feels like the car is wrapping it's arms around you. I was all snuggly! Sounds dumb but when I got back in my car to go home I felt like I was riding on a kitchen chair. No support. The dealer told me go about 60mph on the highway and then when it was clear, floor it to 80. He led me to a guaranteed cop free stretch of road and I let it rip. Woah. My little 4 banger can't hold a candle to the way this car took off.

So I'm hooked. My plan is to get a 2.0. Black. Red interior (60 day wait). w/ the premium plus package and the 18" wheels.

Now - Quattro or not. I live in Michigan and I drive to Buffalo. I'm not living in the south so snow is a factor. I am leaning toward the extra few bucks for the quattro.

Finally - tell me 1 thing you hate about your car. All I read are things people love about them. There's got to be something you don't like!

Do you mean road test as in drivers ed? or test drive?

I love my car, but hate the expensive maintance and repair bills.

Road test. Tested it out on the road. Test Drive/Road Test - not Driving test. Whatever! Went out in a car that was for sale and drove it!

The one thing I hate is the AWD! (See Username)

But i'd still take awd over fwd personally.

Red interior = Thumbs Up.

Being a fellow Michigander, I can say that even the small-ish amount we get down here by the Michigan/Indiana border is enough to warrant the need for an AWD car. The confidence that you have a capable machine around you, the ability to start on a hill and not spin, the control in slush... just lots of reasons for a person in our state to take advantage of that drivetrain.

Definitely pay the extra for the Quattro. In your area, it will be worth it.

I hate the way I can't see **** when I'm trying to back out of a parking space because of those damnable pillars.
