roadster or coupe?
just wondering everyones opinions on the two. i love the coupe, but im seeing some crazy deals right now on roadsters that i dont know if i can pass up. cons to a roadster from my understanding is chassis flex(even noticable?), more weight, less cargo room... but 14000 for a 225 roadster with 22000 miles on it is a steal imo... or 12500 for a nimbus grey, baseball stitch 225 roadster with 60k... idk.... thoughts?
coupe is the only way to go. The body lines are 10x sexier in the coupe. And I will NEVER own a convertable unless it's a convertable hard top. Canvas cheapens the experience. Canvas is for girls and gay guys over 50. And if you can... Black/black is the cleanest IMO. The reason you see so many roadsters is because there are a ton out there. A nice 225q Cpe is hard to find.
You're coming on a little strong there cowboy.....I enjoy the hell out of my Roadster, and am neither.
Hahaha... I was waiting for that kind of reply.
I didn't expect it to take half a day though
Coupe will have a slightly lower insurance premium in many cases due to the backseat and higher theft deterrent of not having a soft top.
There are also maintenance costs in the TCO that you need to consider such as top replacement, more chance of leaks, latches, etc...
That being said...I own a Coupe but have also noticed some sweet deals on the ragtop. If the right one comes along I wouldn't be adversed to getting my TT a friend
