so im thinking of getting new rims and did a quick p-shop(i wouldnt get these ones) but just to get an idea of how the gold would look. what ya think?? i kinda like it

 

It looks pretty good. I like the open wheel look. How much are they/what size??
Lets hope theydont put your tire on lopsidedon that back wheel though when they do the real install.

Black centers look better... the gold looks too WRXy.... but just my opinion. Do what ever you want, it's more a matter of personal preference.

 

i thought about gold w/ mine (im moro blue too).

my mind is stuck on gunmetal though.

 

I like it but it does kinda say I wanna be an STI.
But maybe thats just me.
But i do like gold rims on blue.

 

whats wrong with wanting to be an sti? there some bad *** cars. personally i think those gold rims in particular look really nice on that car.

 

have u ever driven an STI? There is almost not turbo lag boost is instant and hits hard..they are very quick cars but not fast...they top out at like 135mph but i'm sure with some mods you can fix that. I was gonna get one and on the test drive i scared the **** out of the salesmen i went to 110mph on a 3 lane highway. also almost put it into a ditch...i was at a light turning right and i reved it to high and launched the car and we did a very sweet all-wheel drift. they drive very nice but its not an Audi and i love my TT much more. Plus on the WRX forums people were breaking the transfer cases on the 04 05 models so i guess for 06 07 they beefed it up to fix that problem but they look ugly comapred to the 04 05 models

 

these are the wheels im thinking of getting. would be running 19x8.5 in front w/a 235 tire and 19x9.5 w/a 265 tire out back

 

they look sweet, you should definatly do that, it will look really unique, yeah it might be like an STI, but those STI's dont have **** on the stlye of our Audi's!!!!
