Default Seat Height Adjustment Lever Broke Off

So my drivers side seat heigh adjustment lever broke off today. What can I do to fix? Is this part replacable or is it like everyother thing Audi has in this car meaning the whole dam seat needs replaced?

Is there somewhere under the seat that I can physically do something to lower and raise the seat without the lever?

Anyone with extra grey leather seat want to sell it to me on the cheap?

Thanks.

Any write-ups on removing the seat?

I'll do a quick search I guess.

Nothing special. There are 4 bolts to remove. The fronts are underneath the plastic covers on the front of the rails. Then just disconnect the two wire connectors under the seat and lift it out.

I regularly pull mine out when I detail the interior.

How much would you charge to detail my car like that?
I'm sure there are a few dozen pens under my seat...

As far as the height adjustment.... mine broke as well. But according to my dealership (a bunch of no talent, piece of ****, wanna-be servicedepartment) it's not covered under waranty for me. They want to charge me $80 for the part and another $150 or so for the labor. I laughed at them.

Apparently my waranty company doesn't pay for BROKEN parts on the car? WTF does that mean? Isn't that why you get a waranty... to pay for things that BREAK?
I dunno... it just confused me is all.

What website do you find that on? I just looked at about ten and none of them have that part # as anything. If you could send me a link to a site with it that would be awesome!

thanx

Thats the OEM part #. I couldn't find it on any of those sites either. I think you'll have to order from the dealership if you need it.

$80 although expensive is still not too much not to do it.

If you need to put the seat height down or up you can do it without the handle. Under the seat, near the center or the seat there is a gas cylinder. At the tip of the cylinder facing the front of the seat there is a lever with a cable attached. Push this lever towards the cylinder and the back of the seat. This will allow you to adjust the seat.
