service light
I just went over 70000 in a 2003 225 quattro. I got the service lights 500 miles proior all the way to 70000 miles. I did all the 70000 service work myself and want to know how to clear the light???? I have a OBDII scaner that can clear codes. but it shows no codes, but i still get the service light. Any help with this?
Two ways...
VAG-COM Method:
Audi has included a Service Interval Reminder that includes oil mileage interval, the service mileage interval, and the service time interval. To reset the Service Reminders using VAG-COM:
Select Control Module > [Select]
[17 - Instruments]
[Adaptation - 10]
Channel 02 - set to 0 to reset
CLUSTER METHOD (This is in your manual as well):
- Switch ignition off
- Press and hold trip reset button, Turn key on
- Central display will show "SERVICE in XXX" or "SERVICE"
- Release button
- Turn the clock adjuster **** counter-clockwise or clockwise, this will reset the display "SERVICE in XXX" Adjust to desired interval
- Switch ignition off
