I've been watching this car, GTR, and have read several articles about it. It is going to be awesome. AMAZING. Some have pointed this out..."Where will this fit in the American market?" I have also heard that the car is going to be up near 90K as well. The problem is however, the people that can afford this car....usually aren't looking for this "style" of car and they may not sell very well. At that price tag/range the types ussually aren't just looking for pure power but "status" and the luxuries as well to go along with it. You will always have enthusiast like us that would grab it if we could afford it. I could see more people going for it if they kept it near 45-50K where other car's with similair power and styling are, like the new shelby or 'vette from the domestic market. This to me is just the newest Japanese entry into that level (and about time!).
We will have to wait and see. I do see that point of view and I am very interested on how it will pan out.

The rear end seems a bit "mustangish" to me.
Not my taste in a car.

They will definitely not sell at 90k. You can get so much more car and style for that kind of money.
Ya the sad thing is that in Japan the New Skyline GTR is going for around the 30k U.S. Dollar mark. Import tax drives the price up on the car alot for some reason. If Nissan really wanted to get the GTR in a more affordable price range all they would have to do is devote one of there plants here in the states to building them. Hopefully they will eventually.
The tail lights on the Skyline have ALWAYS looked like that, so if anything the Impala stole the Skyline's lights.

Which isn't that bad of a price but people that spend that much on a car typically have the ability to spend alot more. I'm not sure how good the GTR is going to do in the US. It's desirable for sure, but mostly out of it's fan's price range.
