Shifter Bushings
Ok, I went to Speed-Source today to pick up these bushings. They installed them real quick and took some pictures to post up. The install is not difficult at all it was 20 minutes tops. Straight off the bat you can notice a difference! The sloppy feel i had is now gone and it is quite a bit firmer which is sweet!!! I would say these are a significantly better value than some of the others that cost $100+

These work with majority of TT models, and a variety of different VW's

^^^If your endlinks look like this these bushings will work

^^^Crappy plastic center piece pretty much just fell out

^^^All of the rubber cut out of the endlink

^^^Brass bushings installed

^^^Closer picture

^^^Back in the car.
The over all install is very easy. The endlinks come off easily you just want to mark where they were (they used electrical tape) so you dont have any issues when reinstalling. If you dont mark it you could have issues getting your car into gear and such.
tools needed:
hands
exacto knife

I like them. Good catch.
I get the marking for a reference point. Any recommendation if the car should be left in a gear, or in neutral during the install. I'm thinking it best to leave it in a gear to keep any movement of the end links to a minimum.

You just need to mark the threaded portion so you know how far the slide them back down. If you have ever looked at them they just slide off.
i dont see why you dont just buy them... they are 28 bucks lol.
brass bushings installed in 20 min or a day of downtime and the hassle of making your own.
