Default Shifting Gear 1 to 2.

Hi, guyz

Im having trouble to shifting gear 1 to 2.

If I clutch out quick on 1 to 2 , my car goes very jerky... and

If I clutch out slow on 1 to 2, my car reving alittle...

I can shift 3-4 4-5 smoothly but not 1-2

How u guyz shift 1-2 ??

ahh your first encounter with the notorious 2nd gear synchro.

change the tranny fluid to some redline MT-90 and you will have a smoother shift

x2 Redline MT-90, & turn off the esp.

we 2000's have an ASR button. Push that button and a triangle with a circle arrow will come on, this means your traction control is off. Then when you accelerate, it wont pull power as you gun it trying to get traction

I really don't recommend driving around with the ESP/ASR off all the time.

try to flush your hydraulics, this should be done every two years regardless of mileage.

i used that video in a com 101 class for college discussing the differences between german cars and domestic cars and their dedication to making safe cars also used that infamous video of brian p's black TT that got smashed into a little ball when a semi and public bus hit him between a highway guardrail
