a shorter **** isnt gonna reduce your throw up to 40% like some of the kits out there
did either of us say anything about reducing the shift?

again.... "The shift is already pretty short. If you dont like the length of the shifter, just get a new shift ****"
obviously someone did

I just had a forge shortshifter (front and back and side to side) installed this weekend..it does make a difference, but not really a huge one. If you're just looking to save 2/10 of a sec, I don't know, maybe it'll be worth it for you. I just like the feel of the short throw. But again, it doesn't make that much of a diff..my short throw cost 150 shipped

Go to your first post.... then look at the one above that

You even quoted it. That was his correction to his misreading.

his post is after you quoted me. i dont know what you are referring to???

he made a comment about deiselgeek so i posted in response to that, so why do you feel that you have to say "did either of us say anything about reducing the shift?"

Me post #3 "The shift is already pretty short. If you dont like the length of the shifter, just get a new shift ****"

Sheep post #4 "ya my shifter is like 2 1/2 inches tall all i did was a new shift ****."

TTkid post #5 "so a new shift *** will make short shifts like a dieselgeek kit? interesting"

You post #6 "a shorter **** isnt gonna reduce your throw up to 40% like some of the kits out there"

You were either correcting him orstating that sheep and i were claiming that ***** make shifting shorter. To me it sounded like your were stating the latter. But i could of been mistaken.

for anyone still confused, different shift ***** will make the hight of the shifter shorter, making the shift feel shorter. kits will actually make the throw shorter. (same thing Nate said, just a little different wording)

btw, are there any ***** that screw on like stock? I don't like the thought of using little tack screws to hold my shift **** on.
