Default Should I keep my TT?

My TT is gonna hit 100k (200miles more).
I am thinking to sell it and get something else with low mileage.
I am sure I will miss it alot! I own it for over a year and she never had any problems!
Timing belt kit has been changed at 96k. It's fun to drive and I like the unique style!
Right now, I have a brand new 42DD 3" downpipe and Neuspeed 19mm RSB sitting in my home.
I am thinking to part them out if I will sell my TT...
(yea, thinking)

if there's something out there you'd rather have then go for it. selling it because it has 100k doesn't make much sense to me... I think you've just grown a little tired of it, true?

If the car runs well and is in good shape there's no reason to get rid of it just because it's hitting the 100k mark. Audi's are very long-lived cars. As long as you take care of it there's no reason that you shouldn't get another 100k out of it.

Now, if you bored with it... that's another story.

mmmmm, downpipe. if you do decide to get rid of your tt, i could find the dp a home I think But yeah, unless you are bored, then maybe its just that odometer rolling over to 100k thats scaring you off, bit it soudns like you are taking care of the car, which is more important than the #. I think installing that dp and sway would reawaken your love for the tt

I hear ya on the 100K mile deal. I have never kept a car past 90K that's just me tho. I have always ditched them before getting to 90K. I usually get a new car every 2-3 yrs.

I have 3 cars currently...nothing kewl or fancy. The TT is my play car (01 225 nicely modded w/ 62k, paid off) that sits in the garage covered, 03 Mazda Protoge5 is the commuter (paid off w/ 70K) and a 08 Si Coupe fully loaded (with 1500 on the dial). I bought the Si (premium required..at $4.25 a gallon not cheap!) as a commuter but said screw it I'll drive the Mazda because it uses cheap petro, is a stick with 130bhp so the gas mileage is AWESOME. The Si just sits in the driveway lonely all week...unless the wife drives it to an appointment or store cuz she works from home.

I don't think I will part with the TT even if it does hit 100K. I love the looks and the styling and I too feel is unique. Plus...you don't see them all the time on the road. If you do they usually are stockers. It's your decision do what ya feel like.

Ellitte:
Love that S4, looks mean...so you still lurking around on this side of the forums huh, get outta here!![8D]

Why not just keep it until it totally falls apart? That's alot cheaper than a new car payment every month, and you'll look good doing it.

it's hard to make decision. Everyone knows it is a unique car. After my friend seeing mine, he got one! same year, same color as mine.
My TT is my weekend ride, I also has a commute car, it gets great mpg (like 30).
