just find a filter with the inlet diameter of

225 TT - 3"
180 TT - 2.75"

and you can stick any filter on it without needing some sort of kit.

lol no really, i have the Trust AirinX shroom filter in my car rite now. and Neur0tic has the HKS one.

and yes, shroom filter > VTDA

Does the shroom filter have the "low end rumble"? Does it sound better, than say, the once loved VTDA? Bam, I be bussin' sum rhymes up in dis byyyatch.

shroom filters have no low end rumble

its ok, i'd rather have a better pull/throttle response than be a WRX poser

Pretty cool then. At least it is louder and sounds better than a stock airbox, right? I mean, will people hear the whoosh from my Hyperboost when I do ricer fly-bys?
