I am just wondering if there is any kits out there that can convert a single exhaust to dual exhaust? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

 

I asked the same question not too long ago on this board, and was surprised by the lack of available after market options for my case.
Obviously you might start by supplying more specifics on your car, as the options vary by model.

 

oh sure. Mine is a 180 hp quattro.

 

you can purchase any aftermarket exhaust that is intended to fit a 225.

quattro models can share this part however a FWD TT cannot.

 

I wanted to do this as well, but I have a spare tire in the back.

Do some people just remove this? - How do the cars with dual fit a spare in the back?

I think FWD owners have the option of a full size spare and quatrro do not. Thats a complete guess though.

I havea mini spare too.. but I think your spare tire well is large enough for a full size.

 

i have my stock 225 exhaust for sale....cheap as hell...if you can send me a box(maybe i can make one) that will fit it...its yours for 80 bucks plus shipping

 

Just curious, y add another pipe? All your doing is adding more weight to your already underpowered 180! If anything I wish there was a conversion for the 225 to one single 3"pipe all the way save a few pounds and it would be less restrictive.
