Default Slight grind when shifting at low rpm from 3ed to 4th gear-normal?

My 01 225 with 65k, when cold, sometimes lightly grits the 3 to 4 switch. It only does it when I'm going about 25 mph and not at higher speeds and only when cold (first 10 total shifts). Is this normal? Otherwise I have an aftermarket warrenty, should I ask them about it? Thanks

How long is your warranty good for?

If you have some time on it, don't worry about it until it gets annoying, or impairs driving. Until then, Grind Away.

How can I let the trans oil warm up? The warrenty is good for another 10k miles or 14 months, but I'm tring to plan in advance.

by letting it idle longer before driving it. If you need to go sooner, just dont shift in the higher rpms.

I usually don't shift that soon, I just noticed it grits at that speed.
