Default smoked corners

look around and couldnt seem to find the temperature and amount of time i should bake my headlights to pull them apart... anybody know?

also, has anyone tried to take the front bumper off with the wheels still on? ive done it before with wheels of, just dont know how much of a pain it will be with wheels on

low, like 175-200 is my impression, on a damp towel, or just go buy the cheap heat gun.
I havent, but others have, taken the bumper off leaving the wheels on, it can be difificuly to access the deep bolts in the wheel well. Unless there is a reason not to, like no stands or lift etc, you might end up making more work for yourself/taking longer trying to do it with the wheels on then just jacking it up.

if i had jack stands id take the wheels off no doubt haha...

maybe ill just go but some... they cant be too expensive, can they? haha never looked

and i know its low heat, i think i remember like 10 minutes or something, i wonder if a hair dryer on high would work...

not sure what im going to do about the reflector holes, ugh, so many decisions

10 minutes at lowest temp setting. Center of the oven.

one at a time i assume seeing as its center oven, i got time to waste haha...

welp, looks like im off for the daily activities!!

later on tampons, ill try to post pics later tonight along with the HIDs

Just finished doing it to mine today. Put the lights in the oven for 10 min at 200 degrees, and it seemed to work fine.

Also, took the bumper off without taking the wheels off. Wasn't too hard.

i took my wheels off, mucho easier, besides i needed an excuse for jack stands...

and screwed, if you did the smoked, your TT must look great...

for those of you who remember elittes TT mine looks just like it haha

I think its faster with the wheels on, crank them all the way to one side, get the deep hidden nuts off, crank the wheels to the other side and repeat. Takes me about 20 minutes start to finish to pull the bumper but I've done it about six times so I have a system.
